About Rochester Art Fair

Brought to you by Ewa Page - artist and founder of the extremely successful Under the Rainbow Events - Rochester Art Fair provides artists with the opportunity to showcase their work, to an audience of art lovers and art collectors based in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, London and the surrounding areas.

 

Easy to access by car, rail and foot, Rochester Art Fair is located in the centre of the historic and culturally significant town of Rochester, packed with quaint, independent shops and a great range of cafes and restaurants. Situated in the lavish Rochester Corn Exchange, the Fair exhibits a wide variety of outstanding art created by both established and emerging artists.

THE LOCATION

Rochester, Kent

Centrally located in the centre of historic Rochester on the pretty high street, Rochester Art Fair is surrounded by quaint, cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and a vibrant cafe culture.

 

Steeped in history and heritage, with history dating back centuries, Rochester offers visitors the opportunity to explore the stunning Rochester Cathedral or enjoy breathtaking views from the top of  the magnificent Rochester Castle.

Rochester has links to the M2, M20 and A2, as well as several bus routes and car parks within walking distance. It's only a short walk to the train station with highspeed links to London.

THE VENUE

Rochester Corn Exchange

Set in the heart of the historic town of Rochester, The Rochester Corn Exchange is a large Grade I Listed Building and offers a luxurious backdrop for the Rochester Art Fair.

Easy to access by car, rail or on foot, the venue is just minutes away from a variety of attractions, including Rochester Castle and Cathedral.

 

The main section of the building is the imposing 19th Century structure, with stunning architectural features, including ornate plasterwork, classical columns, tall period windows, high decorative ceilings and beautiful chandeliers.

Get to know Ewa

As well as being a successful artist in her own right, Ewa Page is the founder of Under the Rainbow Events, an organisation that has spearheaded a new type of art exhibition showcasing professional and emerging artists from the Southeast of the UK.

Ewa has successfully collaborated with Bluewater and McArthurGlen Shopping & Leisure destinations over the last two years, providing large exhibitions hosting upwards of 60 creatives at a time, offering a unique opportunity to showcase the wonderful talent from the region. This has created a symbiotic art event, providing an exceptional platform for artists and a wonderful diverse, immersive exhibition for visitors of every generation to engage with.

Following feedback from loyal artistic & visitor client base, and a desire to support the growing art & cultural movement in the country and building on her ethos of supporting and collaborating with local artisan business, Ewa decided to organise the Rochester Art Fair in one of Kent's most historical and cultural towns.
